INC Magazine features an article on the National Pecan Shellers Association’s trade event, the Pecan Chefs Summit, in the July 2017 issue. This is where commercial chefs became immersed into the world of pecans through interactive cooking experiences and educational sessions.

The Pecan Chefs Summit, a series committed to immersing Research and Development chefs into the world of pecans was created and implemented by the National Pecan Shellers Association. Chefs experienced the flavors, food pairings and uses of pecan products like pieces, halves, meal, oil and flour. Attendees gained valuable insights into preparing dishes with pecans through recipe development sessions, hands on cooking challenges and collaborating with like-minded chefs.

The 2017 exclusive two-day culinary experience, conceived and organized by Kellen, was held at the Time Inc.
